Rendering a new sports centerpiece for St. Petersburg

The proposed Tampa Bay Rays stadium was designed to be far more than a ballpark. It represents a broader opportunity for St. Petersburg, connecting the community year-round as the fully activated center of a dynamic mixed-use district. Neoscape created renderings to express this vision, translating complex architectural information into human-scale visuals that could garner support from stakeholders and community members, many of whom were resistant to the project when it was just specs on a piece of paper.

Turning economic and community value into immersive imagery

Our visualization team worked closely with Hines, Gensler, and Populous to understand how the new stadium would support and invigorate the existing community.

The resulting renderings bring an entire district to life, showing what’s possible not only on gameday, but far beyond. From stadium concerts to events on the expansive outdoor plaza, viewers can imagine themselves in situations that support business and belonging for both avid sports fans and casual visitors.

Coordinating multiple client goals

As the project progressed, we worked closely and collaboratively with the development, architecture, and design teams to accurately represent changes and shifting priorities in real-time. This iterative process produced the detailed and expressive renderings that represent the project today, combining the most important elements of the space and its spirit.
