BrightSign is a global leader in digital signage solutions. From powering LED billboards in Times Square to menu boards in Starbucks, BrightSign’s hardware and software solutions are synonymous with dynamic, high-quality digital signage.

Pushing the boundaries
of engagement

In 2024, BrightSign opened its first Customer Experience Center at its new San Jose headquarters. The goal: create a space that not only demonstrates the full capabilities of BrightSign’s technology but also serves as an inspiring hub for both internal teams and visiting clients and partners. To bring this vision to life, BrightSign partnered with Neoscape to design and produce an immersive installation that would redefine how their technology is showcased.

An experience
that wows

BrightSign wanted to create a place where visitors could fully experience their technology in a personalized and immersive environment. Rather than a traditional product showcase, they challenged us to push the boundaries of digital signage to create something “amazing.” Just as importantly, they wanted to inspire their team, making the Customer Experience Center a place of pride and innovation.

Technical mastery meets creative storytelling

Translating our discovery findings into real-life applications required a combination of technical expertise, storytelling, and creative problem-solving. To maximize engagement, we leveraged Unreal Engine’s real-time rendering capabilities to create high-impact visuals that dynamically respond to user interactions. A key feature of the installation was the immersive “atmospheric wallpaper,” a large-scale digital display that transformed the space into an ever-evolving visual experience.

Engaging visitors in unexpected ways

Additionally, we developed a high-energy brand film, showcasing BrightSign’s role in digital signage innovation and its ability to power storytelling on a global scale. To complement the immersive experience, we introduced an interactive slot machine—a playful element designed to spark fun, unexpected interactions with the BrightSign brand. Featured in both the Customer Experience Center and at event booths, it offers a lighthearted way for visitors to engage with the technology in a new way.

A joint effort in innovation

Collaboration was key to this project. By working closely with BrightSign’s hardware and software teams, and technology partners, we ensured seamless integration across all interactive elements. Together, we pushed the boundaries of real-time interactive content to enhance immersion and responsiveness while designing adaptable content that could transition effortlessly from the Customer Experience Center to suit different venues and audiences around the world.

A game-changer for interactive digital spaces

While still in its early stages, the Customer Experience Center is shaping up to be a compelling environment for showcasing BrightSign’s technology and engaging both internal teams and visitors. More than just a showroom, the Experience Center is a living, evolving demonstration of BrightSign’s cutting-edge technology and storytelling capabilities, redefining what’s possible in digital signage.
