Sometimes, we get to work on a project that inspires our artists beyond the strict scope of work with our client. The Ayer Mansion reimagining at 395 Commonwealth Avenue in Back Bay was one such recent project.
After the final project delivery, our artists couldn’t pass up the opportunity to produce an extended cut of the beautiful architectural film to capture the intricate details of the historic mansion in new and exciting ways.
Not only was this a chance for our artists to flex their skills, but they also used several new rendering and archviz tools to help them bring elaborate details throughout the home to life. Using a historic preservation document for reference, the team carefully built out the highly detailed Tiffany-designed mosaic on the building’s exterior and accurately modeled the interiors’ architectural style to the exact original specifications.
The final Neoscape Cut of the film perfectly embodies our team’s love for 3D, architecture, and design. We were honored to work on this project with a number of partners, including the design team from Hacin + Associates, as well as CNW Capital Partners, LandVest, Christie’s International Real Estate, Sea-Dar Construction, and Climb High Productions.
